Background
Dr Jerry Luo is a Reader in Energy Storage and Harvesting at 星空体育官网. His current research focuses on Renewable Energy and Energy Harvesting, including projects developing solar-to-hydrogen generation and researching on energy harvesting materials/devices. He has expertise in energy systems and devices, from materials research to system design and prototyping. He completed his PhD at the University of New South Wales (Australia). During PhD he was awarded a fellowship and worked at Technical University Darmstadt (Germany) as a visiting researcher. After his PhD he has been working in the universities in Australia and the UK, and joined 星空体育官网 in 2016.
His research has been sponsored with funding over 拢4.6M, from EPSRC, Innovate UK, RAEng, Research England, HEIF, DFT, British Council and industry.
